Anshin Steel Service Centre Sdn Bhd (ASSC)

ASSC, incorporated in 1989, specializes in the slitting and shearing of hot-rolled pickled and oiled coils (including chequered coils), cold-rolled coils, galvanized iron and electro-galvanized steel sheets and other value-added steel materials such as silicon, aluminium and stainless steels.

ASSC is equipped with slitting and shearing machines that are at the forefront of the industry’s technology. There are three slitter lines with the capacity of precision cutting up to 4.7mm thickness, two levellers capable of handling steel sheets up to 1,550mm wide, two guillotines and one automatic shearing machine.

The plant has an annual rated capacity of 120,000 metric tonnes. The slitter coils and sheared sheets are consumed by the automotive components industry, consumer electronics and furniture, construction and other steel intensive sectors.
